Underwater Navigation Special
Where am I? Where is the exit? How do I find the wreck? These are the questions you often ask yourself when diving? Or do you simply want to move more safely in the underwater world?
Then the Navigation Special is just right for you! The course gives you help to orientate yourself underwater, to dive a course with the compass and to pay attention to natural features.
Course description:
The digital training gives you the opportunity to study the theory at home in peace and quiet. We have planned additional theory lessons so that you can deepen your knowledge. We play through different possibilities and also dive sites. In this way you will get to know underwater navigation in a relaxed manner.
The special course includes 2 dives. You will practice the use of the compass and natural navigation.
Entitlements after the course:
The biggest advantage is that you will find your way around the underwater world better. In addition, the SSI Navigation course is a specialty course that is part of the SSI Advanced Open Water or SSI Master Diver rating. If you have 4 specialty courses and 24 dives, then you reach the recognition level SSI Advanced Open Water Diver!
On request we also offer PADI, CMAS or I.A.C. courses. Here the costs for the teaching material change.
Process
Theory: You can study the digital teaching material at your own pace and in a relaxed manner. All the details of the theory are explained very clearly. We deepen this knowledge together with you during one or more sessions with us.
Open Water Dives:With our minibus we go together to the Upper Sure lake here in Luxembourg or to the lakes in the region. This can be together during our training weekends or, after consultation with you and your instructor, it can be completely flexible, according to your schedule.
Two dives are planned for the Navigation Special. The first dive deals with the correct use of the compass, the second one teaches orientation with natural waypoints.

Not included:
– Equipment
– Transfer outside Luxembourg. Here a contribution to costs is charged.
– Dives that exceed the maximum number of sessions. That is 3 sessions plus theory. For additional dives we charge an extra fee of 55 Euro per session.
– Private lessons (plus 75 Euro)
