You have learned to dive and now you want to know and experience more?
Then the SSI Advanced Adventurer is just right for you.
Here you can choose from 5 different special dives. This way you will get to know different areas of diving, which you can deepen later.
Be it a deep dive or a first insight into navigation or even the first time in a dry suit. There is a lot to discover!
The Advanced Adventurer is equivalent to the PADI AOWD if a deep dive and a navigation dive were made. On request we also conduct the course according to PADI standards.
We understand the Advanced Adventurer as an orientation for further special courses, which impart knowledge in depth.
Course description:
Each specialty dive is accompanied by a detailed briefing, so that you are well prepared for the dives.
Afterwards you go into the water. Depending on the type of dive, this can be in our pool or in one of the lakes in our area. Here the exercises for the dive are carried out. And of course we dive, so that you get a better and better feeling under water with the practice.
The Advanced Adventurer consists of 5 dives. We plan the dives together with you and your instructor.
Entitlements after the course:
Upon successful completion of the SSI Advanced Adventurer course, you are allowed to go diving worldwide. Rent equipment and dive to a depth of 30 meters as part of your training, if one of the dives was a deep dive. The adventure dives can be credited towards the corresponding specialty courses.
The depth limits are age dependent and also depend on local regulations.
Process
Theory: You can study the digital teaching material at your own pace. All the details of the theory are explained very clearly. We deepen this knowledge together with you during one or more sessions with us.
Pool: If the dives you have chosen require it, they can take place in our heated pool. Buoyancy or photography can be done very well in the pool
Open Water Dives: With our minibus, we drive together to the Upper Sure lake here in Luxembourg or to other lakes in the region. This can be together during our training weekends or, after consultation with you and your instructor, it can be completely flexible according to your schedule. The planning depends on which adventure dives you would like to do. We will discuss this with you in detail.
Factsheet
From 15 years if the deep dive is desired.
Included:
– Rental equipment (excl. ABC)
– Digital teaching material (If PADI courses are chosen there is an additional charge for the training materials)
– At least 1 theory session
– 5 dives according to the specialities
– Transfer within Luxembourg to the open water dives
– Certification
– Certification card after successful completion of the course
Not included:
– Fins, boots, mask, snorkel and gloves
– Transfer outside Luxembourg. Here a contribution to costs is charged.
– Dives that exceed the maximum number of sessions. That is 5 sessions plus theory. For additional dives we charge an extra fee of 55 Euro per session.
