Dry Suit Diving Special
Would you like to dive in our local lakes for a longer period of the year? You want to get to know the kelp forests in Norway? Or just try something new?
In a dry suit you will feel comfortable in colder temperatures without freezing. Completely new diving areas open up and you have longer and more relaxed dives.
With the support of the digital SSI teaching material, you can prepare for the course in a relaxed manner. We will deepen the theory together and answer all your questions about dry suit diving.
In a pool session in our swimming pool, you will learn how to use the dry suit safely. How to ventilate your feet or how to best distribute the air inside the suit.
During two open water dives you will experience the benefits of dry diving and gain experience under the guidance of your instructor.
Entitlements after the course:
The course concludes with the SSI Dry Suit Specialty certification, which credits towards the Advanced Open Water recognition level or further experience levels. 24 logged dives and 4 specialty courses and you reach the level of SSI Advanced Open Water Diver
You will find it easier to get along with a dry suit, which is of course the biggest advantage and helps you to choose the right suit.
On request we also offer PADI, CMAS or I.A.C. courses. Here the costs for the teaching material change.
Theory: You can study the digital teaching material at your own pace and in a relaxed manner. All the details of the theory are explained very clearly. We deepen this knowledge together with you during one or more sessions with us.
Pool: The first dive deals with the correct handling of the Dry Suit under safe conditions in the pool. What do I do if I have air in my legs, how do I deal with water ingress or what do I do if the inflator hose does not work?
Open Water Dives: With our minibus we go together to the Upper Sure lake here in Luxembourg or to the lakes in the region. This can be together during our training weekends or, after consultation with you and your instructor, it can be completely flexible, according to your schedule.
For the Dry Suit Special two dives are planned, the two Open Water dives will help you to gain experience in using the dry suit.
