Decompression Diving
You want to go beyond the limits of “normal” recreational diving?
You want to explore the dive site for longer?
You feel safe in the water and want to develop your diving skills?
You want an introduction to Tec diving?
Decompression Diving Special is the course for you! Here you will learn how to safely plan and conduct decompression dives.
Course description:
Digital training gives you the opportunity to study the theory at home at your leisure. We have planned additional theory lessons so that you can deepen what you have read. Especially for deeper dives, you want to know exactly about the material. Here we also go into more detail about air management and deco planning.
The speciality course includes at least 2 sessions in the pool and 3 open water dives. The depth is increased from 21 to 30 or more, up to a maximum of 40 metres.
We also go into the theory of decompression diving with at least 2 session.
During the dives you will learn special techniques such as handling deco tanks, setting buoys from greater depths and safely maintaining planned depths. We work on the final touches of buoyancy, learn to calculate breath minute volume and plan decompression dives safely.
Entitlements after the course:
The SSI Decompression Diving programm provides divers with the necessary training to:
Independently plan and conduct decompression dives using a Total Diving System for recreational diving, or sidemount.
To a maximum depth of 40 metres,
Using a breathing gas with a maximum optimized Nitrox mix of 40%,
For a maximum accumulated decompression time of 15 minutes,
To dive with an equally – or more – qualified dive buddy.
