Are you looking for an adventure? You have always been fascinated by the pictures of sunken boats? Do you want to learn more about underwater treasures? Are you interested in the history behind the wrecks?
The Wreck Specialty course prepares you to visit the witnesses under water.
The selection of a wreck dive site and the special equipment for wreck diving is the subject of the course. How knowing the history of a wreck makes diving more interesting, how to locate a wreck underwater and also how to respect a wreck is the subject of the course.
During two dives you will learn to apply your knowledge and move safely around a wreck.
Course description:
Digital training gives you the opportunity to study the theory at home at your leisure. In addition, we have planned theory lessons so that you can deepen your knowledge. We play through different possibilities and also dive sites. In this way you will learn the knowledge for a beautiful wreck dive in a relaxed way.
The special course includes 2 dives. You will practise orientation on a wreck and how to move safely there. For example, you will learn how to safely set a surface buoy and how to lay safety lines as orientation aids.
Permissions after the course:
The biggest benefit is that you will feel more comfortable doing a wreck dive…. In addition, the SSI Wreck Specialty course counts as a specialty course towards the SSI Advanced Open Water or SSI Master Diver recognition level. If you have 4 specialty courses and 24 dives, you will reach the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver recognition level!
