SRC – Short Range Communication Radio
The SRC course prepares you for the radio use.
This is the right course for you there:
It is officially required if you want to operate a radio installation.
you are only allowed to install a (very inexpensive) radio system on your yacht.
you can participate in radio traffic comfortably and without high costs.
In Croatia, a crew member must have a VHF radio certificate if you want to charter a yacht.
You can call home or your office at any time.
You can register to lock or be assigned a berth in port.
you can call foreign ships with VHF.
But above all because:
You will gain knowledge and skills in the exam preparation course that are essential for your personal safety and that of your crew on the water.
For the time being, the course is only offered in German.
Training procedure: Theory and practice
The training includes the following contents:
Operation of the VHF radiotelephone.
Practical exercises in radiotelephony procedures using the international alphabet.
