Pranayama – breathing training for divers

Pranayama originated in yoga and includes a variety of breathing techniques. Apnoea divers use these techniques as preparation training for dives – scuba divers use them to help them breathe calmly and stay relaxed underwater.

 

John is a yoga instructor and has specialized in pranayama for the past 15 years. He offers courses and trainings on all aspects of breathwork, combining traditional pranayama from yoga with modern breathwork techniques.
